Arnold Schwarzenegger has undergone emergency open-heart surgery


Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger has undergone emergency open-heart surgical treatment, according to United States reports.

The 70-year-old actor had the medical treatment on Thursday, according to TMZ.

Schwarzenegger was set up to have a catheter valve replacement and developed problems, reports said.

The procedure generally suggests the patient can avoid having open-heart surgical treatment.

Physicians at Cedars-Sinai health center in LA reportedly decided an emergency open-heart operation was needed and Schwarzenegger remained in surgical treatment for a number of hours.

The former governor of California is thought to be in a stable condition.

Earlier today, Schwarzenegger seemed in good health when he talked to CNN about modifications in the Republican party. The previous politician has been crucial of Donald Trump’s presidential administration.

The action star is because of reprise his previous roles as robot killer The Terminator and Conan the Barbarian over the next two years.

This is not the actor’s very first heart operation.

In 1997, the Austrian-born former bodybuilder underwent optional heart surgical treatment to replace a heart valve.

He stated the operation was due to a condition which was genetic and absolutely nothing to do with steroids.

He revealed in his book “Total Recall: My Incredibly True Life Story” that he initially kept that very first operation a trick from his better half, Maria Shriver, by telling her he was on vacation in Mexico.

The actor was voted in as governor of California in a historical 2003 recall vote – but showed the win was no fluke by beating opponent Phil Angelides to obtain re-elected.
