Fortnite obtains from Apex Legends with the Fortnite upgrade 8.30. According to a video from Epic Games, the battle royale feeling will get what’s being described as a Reboot Van. This will permit players to bring their teammates back to life similar to Apex Legends’ respawn beacons. By getting Reboot Cards that will exist on downed allies and activating them at Reboot Vans would bring them back into the game. When activated, there will be a visual and audio hint to let those nearby understand a reboot is on the way in addition to the number of gamers making a return. Squadmates will generate on the van one at a time.
There’s a Reboot Van cooldown duration too, though the period of this is yet to be exposed. Epic Games hasn’t provided us a Fortnite update 8.30 release date yet, but if it’s anything like what we’ve seen in the past, anticipate it on April 10 at 5am ET.
Previously, Fortnite remained in the news with calls for it being prohibited by Prince Harry, a member of the UK’s royal family who holds the title of the Duke of Sussex. He said that children should not be allowed to play Fortnite. He made the remark during a see to the West London branch of YMCA (Young Men’s Christian Association). Prince Harry was speaking about the impacts of social media and violent computer game on children.
This quote was reported by Daily Express, which added that Prince Harry stated social media is “more addictive than alcohol and drugs” and that parents don’t understand how to control their kids’ dependency to Fortnite either.
He asked: “Where is the benefit of having it in your home?” He said parents should take an active function in motivating their children to connect with the world outside the Internet.
