The Creator Of PUBG Has No Plans To Make PUBG 2

A PUBG 2 isn’t in the works according to developer Brendan Greene who has carried on to other tasks within PUBG Corp. Widely known as the maker of the popular fight royale game, Greene’s next title will step away from the category, though it will be a multiplayer-focused affair that might not work on the normal mechanics of having gamers kill each other.

” I’ve done the killing thing,” he said in discussion with “It’s fun. I think I’ve provided others with a great way of eliminating each other. But I want to explore some other things.”

When asked if this would indicate a cooperative gameplay experience, he validated this might be a possibility.

” That’s something we’re going to explore,” stated Greene. “The last male standing concept is great, however I’ve done that. I do not really mean to make PUBG 2. I’ve done fight royale, it’s time to attempt something else. There are concepts about how we connect to people and how we provide the different experiences I have.”

PUBG recently got the Vikendi snow map on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Ahead of that, a variation of the video game optimized for low-end gadgets, PUBG Lite had actually been launched. PUBG is a battle royale video game where as much as 100 players are paradropped on an island and the last person or team standing wins.

While the game stays popular worldwide, PUBG Mobile is the version that’s extremely popular in India. This is since more people in the country have access to Android phones than PCs or consoles, and the fact that PUBG Mobile is free-to-play instead of PUBG which is a paid video game. PUBG Mobile dependency has been an issue in India, with the game being prohibited in some main schools, and even being name-checked by India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
